Cubs can join the Pack at any time during the year.
Cub Scouts is open to all children grades K through 5. All new Scouts are required to complete an application, pay yearly dues and participate in the annual Trail's End Popcorn Fundraiser.
Annual Dues for Pack 47 are $145.00 this includes:
National Scout registration and insurance
A Pack 47 (Class B) t-shirt
A pinewood derby kit
The Blue and Gold Banquet and all patches and awards for the year.
Many other activities like Donuts at the Derby. Dens may charge an additional small Den Fee to cover art supplies for den activities. Uniforms, accessories and summer camp fees are additional. You may also choose an optional Boys Life subscription for an additional $15.00.
After you complete the application and submit the $100.00 fee, we will assign your cub to a Den with others of his or her age and grade. Your Scout will immediately start work on the Bobcat badge, which consists of 5 short activities, and work towards the next age appropriate rank advancement with his or her Den.
